2025 Summer Mile Stakes Preview
Scheduled to take place in July of each year at the Ascot Racecourse is the Summer Mile Stakes. This race is a Group 2, which is contested as the name suggests over a mile, with runners aged four or older allowed to enter.
The race went from Listed to Group 3 status in 2003 and then, in 2006, was upped to a Group 2 and given its current title. Previously, it was known as the Silver Trophy Stakes.
