2024 Chesham Stakes Preview

Run at the Royal Ascot festival in June of the year, the Chesham Stakes is a listed race for two-year-old runners which is run over a trip of seven furlongs.

Established in 1919, the race was originally run over five furlongs, then increased to six furlongs and has been run over the now length of seven furlongs since 1996.

There are not too many races where they are restricted based on their sire records, this one is! Runners sired by a stallion who won over one mile and two furlongs or further are only allowed to enter.
