Scheduled to take place in July of each year at the Longchamp Racecourse is the Grand Prix de Paris, a Group 1 horse race that is open only to colts and fillies who are aged three years old. The race is run over one mile and four furlongs (2,400m) and takes place on Bastille Day, a French national holiday.
