Scheduled to take place in October of each year at the Longchamp racecourse is the Prix de l'Opéra, a group one open to fillies and mares who are aged three or older, which is run on the same day as the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
The race is run over a trip of one mile and two furlongs, in which the winner receives an automatic invite into the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mares Turf.
