2025 Dahlia Stakes Preview
Scheduled to take place in May of each year at the Newmarket racecourse is the Dahlia Stakes which takes place during the Guineas Festival. This Group 2 is open to only mares and fillies who are four or older and is run over a distance of one mile and one furlong.
Established in 1997, the race is named in honour of the filly Dahlia from the 1970s. Originally holding a listed status, it was upgraded in 2004 to a Group 3 and then upgraded again in 2015 to its current Group 2 status.
