Scheduled to take place in either late September or early October of each year at the Newmarket racecourse, the Rockfel Stakes is a Group 2 race that is open to two-year-old fillies only and run over a straight seven-furlong trip where a 3lb penalty is carried by previous Group 1 or Group 2 winners.
