2024 Cheveley Park Stakes Preview

Established in 1899, the Cheveley Park Stakes is scheduled to take place in September of each year at the Newmarket racecourse on the final day of the three-day Cambridgeshire meeting. The race is a Group 1 which is open to two-year-old fillies, it is run over a straight six furlongs with all of the runners carrying an equal weight of nine stone.

Runners who put in a good performance in this race are worth putting in the notebook ahead of their three-year-old campaign and worth noting when the 1,000 Guineas come along the following year, Special Duty (2009-10) was the last filly to win both.
