Before placing your bet on the 2026 Nell Gwyn Stakes, see which other runners today are being backed on the racing predictions page.

The runner that holds the record over the past 20 renewals for the slowest time in the race was set in the 2025 renewal when Zanzoun from John & Thady Gosden under the guidance of Kieran Shoemark, won in a time of 1:29.22, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Pretty Crystal, trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Oisin Orr set the quickest time of 1:22.90 in the 2024 renewal.

What the expert says...
Every winner (11) between 2013 & 2024 went on to run in the 1,000 Guineas next time out, Cachet's win in 2022 is the only one of those eleven to go on and win, it was the first since Speciosa achieved it in 2006.
