2024 Acomb Stakes Preview

Run on the opening of the York Ebor Festival in August, the Acomb Stakes is a Group 3 flat race that is restricted to two-year-old runners only. The race is run over seven furlongs meaning the runners have to contend with a left-hand turn, fillies get a 3lb allowance whilst previous G1 or G2 winners have to carry a 5lb penalty and previous G3 winners carry a 3lb penalty.
