Scheduled to take place in October of each year at the Newmarket racecourse is the Sun Chariot Stakes, a Group 1 race that is part of the British Champions Mile Series, this race is open to only fillies and mares who are aged three or older with three-year-olds having to carry 9-0 whilst the older runners have to carry 3lb more (9-3).
