2025 Oak Tree Stakes Preview

The Oak Tree Stakes is not one of the oldest races but attracts some top-class runners, established in 1980, this Group 3 is open to fillies and mares who are three or older and is run over seven furlongs.

The race features on day four of the Glorious Goodwood festival in late July or early August with three-year-old runners receiving a 6lb allowance from the older runners however previous group winners are penalised, with Group 1 (7lb), Group 2 (5lb) and Group 3 (3lb).
