2025 Glorious Stakes Preview
Established in 1979, the Glorious Stakes has had its Group 3 status since 2008 and is run on the fourth day of the Glorious Goodwood festival held in late July or early August.
The race is run over one mile and four furlongs and is open to runners aged four or older, the allotted weight is 9-1 with fillies and mares receiving a 3lb allowance whilst group winners have to carry a penalty, Group 1 (7lb), Group 2 (5lb) and Group 3 (3lb).
