How competitive is the Lennox Stakes market? When looking at the over-rounds for the last 20 renewals, the most competitive market was in 2011 when the race had an over-round of 111%. The race in 2007 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 122%, whilst on average over the last 20 renewals of the Lennox Stakes, the over-round has been 115%, which means the bookie expects to pay out £100 for every £115 which is bet.

Below you will find the 2026 Lennox Stakes Trends. See which patterns have occurred over the recent renewals that you may be able to use for the next renewal. We also have a section that looks at the Lennox Stakes Trend Analysis.

These are the top three quickest-run Lennox Stakes races over the last 20 renewals:

  1. Audience (1:23.90) in 2024
  2. Dutch Connection (1:24.48) in 2016
  3. Es Que Love (1:24.55) in 2014

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Over the past 20 renewals, if you had followed the winner of the Lennox Stakes next time out, then you would have backed a total of 6 winners. Backing all 18 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of +2.15. Remember to use the racing predictions along with the information on this page to find a bet on the 2026 Lennox Stakes.

The runner that holds the record over the past 20 renewals for the slowest time in the race was set in the 2021 renewal when Kinross from Ralph Beckett under the guidance of Rossa Ryan, won in a time of 1:31.02, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Audience, trained by John & Thady Gosden and ridden by Robert Havlin set the quickest time of 1:23.90 in the 2024 renewal.

What the expert says...
The City of York Stakes seems to be the target for the winner these days, all of the winners between 2022-24 have gone on to run in that race, with Kinross (2023) going on to win it.
