2026 Molecomb Stakes Preview
Open to two-year-old runners, the Morecomb Stakes is a Group 3 race that is run over five furlongs; the race is more often than not all over in under a minute. It takes place at the Glorious Goodwood Festival in late July or early August and features on the second day.
A weight of nine stone and one pound is allocated to each runner. Any fillies in the race get a 3lb allowance, any previous Group 1 or 2 winners have to carry a 5lb penalty, whilst previous Group 3 winners carry a 3lb penalty.
