2025 King George Stakes Preview

The feature on day four of the Glorious Goodwood festival, the King George Stakes is a Group 2 race open to runners aged three or older and is run over five furlongs.

It's a race where you cannot blink otherwise you will miss it, it's a fast-run race with all the last twenty renewals being run in under fifty-nine seconds! Battaash the sprint king won four consecutive renewals (2017-20) for Charles Hills and Jim Crowley and is the most successful runner in the race.
