How competitive is the Huxley Stakes market? When looking at the over-rounds for the last 20 renewals, the most competitive market was in 2007, when the race had an over-round of 106%. The race in 2010 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 117%, whilst on average over the last 20 renewals of the Huxley Stakes, the over-round has been 111%, which means the bookie expects to pay out £100 for every £111 which is bet.

Below you will find the 2027 Huxley Stakes Trends. See which patterns have occurred over the recent renewals that you may be able to use for the next renewal. We also have a section that looks at the Huxley Stakes Trend Analysis.

These are the top three quickest-run Huxley Stakes races over the last 20 renewals:

  1. Passenger (2:05.24) in 2024
  2. Solid Stone (2:07.79) in 2022
  3. Maraahel (2:07.92) in 2006

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Over the past 20 renewals, if you had followed the winner of the Huxley Stakes next time out, then you would have backed a total of 3 winners. Backing all 17 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -7.83. Remember to bookmark the racing tips page to access the OLBG racing picks easily daily.

When looking over the past 20 renewals, a time of 2:05.24 was set by Passenger in 2024, trained by Sir Michael Stoute and ridden by Richard Kingscote, which is the quickest time over that period. The slowest winning time was set in 2012 when Marcret won in a time of 2:19.30 for trainer Marco Botti, who booked Ryan Moore in the saddle.

What the expert says...
Five of the winners between 2005 and 2024 ran in the Hardwicke Stakes next time out, and both Maraahel (2006) and Await The Dawn (2011) went on to win that race. Maraahel also won the Hardwicke in 2007 via the Coronation Cup.
