The runner that holds the record over the past 15 renewals for the slowest time in the race was set in the 2013 renewal when Smoothtalkinrascal from David O'Meara under the guidance of Daniel Tudhope, won in a time of 1:01.84, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Great State, trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Oisin Murphy set the quickest time of 57.14 in the 2023 renewal.

What the expert says...
Five of the last six winners have now come here on the back of a win last time out, the most recent of those being Big Evs, who won at the Breeders Cup, taking the Juvenile Turf Sprint.
