How competitive is the Musidora Stakes market? When looking at the over-rounds for the last 20 renewals, the most competitive market was in 2015, when the race had an over-round of 107%. The race in 2014 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 117%, whilst on average over the last 20 renewals of the Musidora Stakes, the over-round has been 111%, which means the bookie expects to pay out £100 for every £111 which is bet.

Below you will find the 2027 Musidora Stakes Trends. See which patterns have occurred over the recent renewals that you may be able to use for the next renewal. We also have a section that looks at the Musidora Stakes Trend Analysis.

These are the top three quickest-run Musidora Stakes races over the last 20 renewals:

  1. So Mi Dar (2:09.07) in 2016
  2. Aviate (2:09.14) in 2010
  3. Whirl (2:09.61) in 2025

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Over the past 20 renewals, if you had followed the winner of the Musidora Stakes next time out, then you would have backed a total of 4 winners. Backing all 19 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -3.12. Remember to use the racing predictions along with the information on this page to find a bet on the 2027 Musidora Stakes.

Over the last 20 renewals, it was So Mi Dar, trained by John Gosden and ridden by Frankie Dettori, who set the fastest winning time in the Musidora Stakes. That runner won the race in a time of 2:09.07 in 2016. At the other end of the scale, it was the combination of trainer John Gosden and jockey Frankie Dettori with Shutter Speed who set the slowest winning time; the race-winning time was 2:18.62 in the 2017 renewal.

What the expert says...
The Epsom Oaks has been the destination of fourteen of the winners of this race between 2007 and 2025, and three of those have gone on to win that race. Sariska (2009), Snowfall (2021) and Soul Sister (2023) were the successful runners.
