The race in 2009 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 120%, whilst on average over the last 20 renewals of the Princess Elizabeth Stakes, the over-round has been 115%, which means the bookie expects to pay out £100 for every £115 which is bet.

These are the top three quickest-run Princess Elizabeth Stakes races over the last 20 renewals:

  1. Anna Nerium (1:40.82) in 2019
  2. Laugh Aloud (1:41.54) in 2017
  3. Thistle Bird (1:42.65) in 2014

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Over the past 20 renewals, if you had followed the winner of the Princess Elizabeth Stakes next time out, then you would have backed a total of 1 winner. Backing all 19 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -14.00. Ahead of the 2026 Princess Elizabeth Stakes, why not head over to the racing predictions for tips on other races today?

Over the last 20 renewals, it was Anna Nerium, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Tom Marquand, who set the fastest winning time in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes. That runner won the race in a time of 1:40.82 in 2019. At the other end of the scale, it was the combination of trainer Sir Michael Stoute and jockey Kerrin McEvoy with Echelon who set the slowest winning time; the race-winning time was 1:47.67 in the 2007 renewal.

What the expert says...
The Conqueror Fillies Stakes at Goodwood is one to watch out for if runners are coming here from that race, as it has supplied three of the last seven winners, with all three getting a top 3 finish before winning this.
