When looking over the past 20 renewals, a time of 1:20.80 was set by Muhaarar in 2015, trained by Charles Hills and ridden by Frankie Dettori, which is the quickest time over that period. What the expert says...
Since 2006, the Dewhurst Stakes has supplied six of the winners of the Greenham Stakes, including three of the last six in Chindit (2021), Isaac Shelby (2023) and Alparslan (2026). Looking further back, it supplied the legendary Frankel, who won the race in 2011.
