These are the top three quickest-run Doncaster Stakes races over the last 20 renewals:

  1. Hinton Admiral (1:11.14) in 2006
  2. Gusto (1:11.21) in 2011
  3. Rosie Briar (1:11.53) in 2016

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Over the past 20 renewals, if you had followed the winner of the Doncaster Stakes next time out, then you would have backed a total of 3 winners. Backing all 18 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -5.55. Remember to use the racing predictions along with the information on this page to find a bet on the 2025 Doncaster Stakes.

The runner that holds the record over the past 20 renewals for the slowest time in the race was set in the 2005 renewal when Dubai Success from B W Hills under the guidance of Richard Hills, won in a time of 2:41.94, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Hinton Admiral, trained by Mark Johnston and ridden by J-P Guillambert set the quickest time of 1:11.14 in the 2006 renewal.

What the expert says...
Between 2007 & 2021, eleven of the fourteen winners came into the race on the back of a win; however, the last three came into the race having finished 4th, 8th & 4th last time out.
