Scotland officially had a White Christmas in 2023
2024 could be the second consecutive year that we see a White Christmas called in the North of the UK on Christmas Day with parts of Scotland seeing snow falling last year.
The Highlands of Scotland saw snow last Christmas with both Tulloch Bridge and Aviemore officially declared as having a White Christmas by the Met Office last year.
Despite that cold snap up in Scotland, 2023 was declared as the UK's hottest Christmas since 2016 after temperatures of 13.6C were recorded at Exeter Airport on December 25.
