Full LiveScore Bet Bookmaker Review

It’s a bit of a tricky one explaining this, because the short review is that LiveScore Bet is really very, very good. It’s excellent. However, the odds aren’t (they’re not bad, just not great either), which seems totally at odds (excuse the pun) with being a good sportsbook. Usually, when a bookie doesn’t have amazing odds they can supplement that with lots of promotions, but LiveScore Bet doesn’t even do that. So why is it good?

There are some price boosts, but it’s the actual product and experience that are so easy on the eye, and fingertips. The navigation is exceptional, the amount of different sports is more than most and the live streaming is a particular highlight. Even for events you can stream there is a little note saying where you can watch the event (Sky sports, TNT etc.)

The free to play games are an extra touch, but nothing that would make you choose LiveScore Bet over anyone else. It’s very, very product-led, and that’s obvious. Even if you don’t get the best value all the time, it’s such a nice betting experience.

LiveScore Bet Review Summary

Fantastic sportsbook product, with great interface and user experience. Plenty of promotions, too.

Advantages and Disadvantages

All explained in greater detail in this review, these pros and cons allow users to scan and understand where the strengths lie quickly.

Pros

  • Excellent in-play betting

  • Exceptional baseball betting

  • Price boosts

Cons

  • Lack of promotions

First Impression of LiveScore Bet

Luke Bradshaw Lee

My First Impressions

It’s very hard not to really like LiveScore Bet from the off. It’s something that immediately puts you at ease – things are where you want them, nothing alarms, the navigation flows as you would like, and then, bit by bit, you start noticing and appreciating some very nice touches, indeed.

LiveScore Bet Live Betting

As you’d expect, the live betting here is really very good. LiveScore Bet does that very easy thing (but not something everyone does) of letting you know how many live markets are running at any one time – in this instance, 66.

Among the expected selection of sports covered, there are some great features, live streaming being one of those things. You can filter in the in-play events by “Streaming”, to see which of the markets features live streaming. But on top of that, LiveScore Bet has “Market Movers”, a list of in-play events where the odds on the pre-match favourite have drifted significantly in the match. There are also head-to-head records, form, in-game stats and more.

LiveScore Bet Live Streaming

This is an excellent part of the product. LiveScore Bet has live streaming on a number of sports, including tennis, badminton, horse racing (French, US and South African, not just UK and Irish), football and basketball.

LiveScore Bet live sports betting page

LiveScore Bet Betting Odds

After looking through some comparison sites – OddsChecker, plus a few others – as well as a deeper look across other sportsbooks, it looks as though the odds offered at LiveScore Bet are good, but not incredible. We checked football, tennis and cricket for in-play odds, plus horse racing and a few other sports for pre-match stuff. They’re very competitive but not exactly where line shoppers will come to hunt specific value.

Also, remember that it is always worth checking alternative betting options, including best spread betting sites and betting exchange sites, depending on who you are as a bettor.

LiveScore Bet Betting App or Mobile Site

I love LiveScore Bet’s app. This may sound a bit odd, but I’m not entirely sure why, other than it being such a well-put together product. I guess like not noticing a referee in a football match being an indicator that they had a good game, it’s a bit like that. There’s so little fuss and even small things, like turning odds from fractional to decimal after signing up, took 10 seconds, because it was an option in the Settings, which was already easy to find. It’s just very difficult to fault.

See how it compares to the best betting apps in the UK.

LiveScore Bet Football Betting

LiveScore Bet offers a very broad range of football markets, with odds that are mostly competitive. There’s obviously the major leagues and competitions, but bettors can also find domestic leagues as varied as Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and Costa Rica. There is a good range, but it wouldn’t be right up with the very best. There are also some decent promotions running that are football-specific. Each market also clearly lists whether there are price boosts and/or stats for those games.

You can see in the chart below, in greater detail, why certain bookies rank among the top for football betting sites, and what LiveScore Bet is up against.

Bet Builder

There’s a good amount of markets within their bet builder feature, not loads, but good enough. I would  like to see a few more (there are no player fouls committed, or player tackles), but to be honest, these might be added closer to the time. On top of the bet builder, there are also Pre-Packs – small, pre-made bet builders of two to five legs that people can take advantage of.

Bonuses

As well as the welcome offer there are a few different promotions to take advantage of. LiveScore Bet’s punters can get best odds guaranteed, plus acca offers (a free acca when you place two accas), and these are on top of free to pay games.

One of these games is LiveScore Bet Squads. Here, you pick five players to represent your “squad”, and these will earn you cash each time they score in listed matches. Once you select players, a prize wheel will determine how much money you’ll win if they score a goal. While it may not be the thing sharps are after, it’s quite fun and at least a different approach to free to play games.

Cash Out

Cashout is a very important betting feature for punters these days so it's crucial that bookies integrate this feature into their mobile betting apps. LiveScore Bet do this well, allowing their customers to instantly cash out their bets on any device they like.

LiveScore Bet Horse Racing

The horse racing section at LiveScore Bet is nice. The odds are competitive enough, and the market coverage is great – South Africa, the US, France, Australia and more on top of UK and Irish meets. In terms of promotions there is money back as a free bet if your horse places (in selected races), and extra places on certain races

LiveScore Bet also has BOG (Best Odds Guaranteed). This is on all UK racing, with multiples included. Unfortunately it’s only from 10:00am, but the good news is that their cap is set at £50,000.

LiveScore Bet US Sports Betting

A full range of American Sports is available. Of the major leagues in the US, there’s no MLB season currently, but it’s good to see some futures and outrights, regardless.

American Football Betting

I’d like to see the three main markets for an American football game from the off, here it’s just the spread, and what I (and most NFL fans) is to see the spread, moneyline and total. If you can only see one, then spread is the best, but there’s no reason not to show all three straight up.There are some nice pre-made bet builders and plenty of markets, including a variety of player props.  It’s worth checking if they make it in our best NFL betting sites.

Basketball Betting

There’s an exceptional selection of leagues here in terms of global coverage. There’s obviously the NBA, but LiveScore Bet covers a wide range of EuroCup, FIBA tournaments and similar. There are also events in South Korea, Poland, China, Brazil and more. There are loads of player props, selected price boosts on a few different markets and decent odds generally.

Baseball Betting

LiveScoreBet has some of the best baseball betting odds in the country. In fact, if you take Events, Markets and Odds, LiveScoreBet is the only UK bookmaker to get maximum marks on all three. There aren’t a tonne of promotions but that’s true of a lot of UK bookmakers for baseball, but there are some odds boosts for a few markets, and these are highlighted with their boost icon. Given how good their odds are to begin with, the boosts push them into an unrivalled league of their own.

Ice Hockey Betting

The NHL takes up the bulk of space here, as expected. But there are also some French, Austrian, and Danish fixtures included. I selected an upcoming NHL game and there are loads and loads of markets listed. For the smaller leagues that reduces a bit more, which is understandable. Overall, I think this is a very good standard. Once again, some of these games have price boosts, which is great to see.

LiveScore Bet Greyhound Betting

There’s live streaming on most UK races, and there is also Best Odds Guaranteed for greyhounds from 10:00am. I’d say of all the meets listed on LiveScore Bet, probably about three-quarters had live streaming as an option. Overall, the odds seem pretty good for antepost stuff, so definitely worth checking out and coming back when you can. What’s fantastic, are the in-built Racing Post picks and litter summarizers for each dog in the race.

LiveScore Bet Darts Betting

By Matt Edgar, professional darts player – In terms of darts betting sites in the UK, LiveScore Bet is a pretty decent option. There are lots of competitions listed, and then once you select particular matches, there are lots of markets to choose between. For a few Premier League games coming up there were plenty of additional markets on top of the expected ones, whether that be on 180s, Legs/Sets or Checkouts.

LiveScore Bet Snooker Betting

By Steve Madgwick - As with the best snooker betting sites, there are markets for a few different tournaments, including the World Championships, the Masters and World Grand Prix. LiveScore Bet are starting to muscle in on other bookies in the industry with their product, showing the industry that they are absolutely a bookmaker that you should have an account with. Their in-play service for snooker is a real standout, while you can get some snooker price boosts depending on the matches or competitions at the time.

LiveScore Bet Rugby Betting (Union & League)

By Luke Bradshaw Lee - This is pretty good from LiveScore Bet. Obviously there are Six Nations outrights, alongside the Gallagher Premiership, Champions Cup, URC and Top 14, but there is also Pro D2 in France and Japan’s Rugby League One. That said, within games there is a disappointing selection in markets, with only five or six per match, but these increase the closer to kick off that you get. See how they compare to our best Rugby betting sites.

LiveScore Bet Cricket Betting

By James Banting - This is generally pretty good. Ideally I’d like to see some more events covered, but there’s a decent amount nonetheless. The odds are really good, and this is probably somewhere I will return to for my cricket betting because the actual number of markets listed per event is better than most I reckon.

LiveScore Bet Tennis Betting

By James Banting - Overall, I think the tennis betting at LiveScore Bet is very good. There are some competitions beyond the Slams, as this goes down to Challenger and ITF level. At the time of review there’s an Australian Open game going on and I can live stream it, while making my bets, and I can also switch the live stream to in-play stats if I choose.  If they could add in more markets, and some tennis-specific promotions, they’d definitely be closer to getting into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.

LiveScore Bet tennis sports betting page

LiveScore Bet Golf Betting

By James Banting - I really like the golf betting here. There are so many competitions and events listed, and within that the market depth is great. The odds let it down a little bit, as I can definitely find better value elsewhere plus there’s no promotions to speak of, so if they could add some more, that would be great. Compare them to our best bookmakers for golf betting.

LiveScore Bet Motorsports Betting

By Andy Powell - Motor Sports bettors should be happy with the mixture of events here. Understandably, the F1 grand prix takes centre stage, although it doesn’t have its own tab and is housed within the “Motor Racing” section. Here you’ll also find Formula E, MotoGP, NASCAR and Speedway. F1 is definitely the deepest here, which should come as no surprise, with plenty of markets and driver specials for the next Grand Prix of the season. See if they make it into our top 10 betting sites for motorsport.

LiveScore Bet Boxing Betting

By Frank Monkhouse former professional boxer - There’s lots of boxing bouts to get stuck into here, and the markets look dependent on timings. Those this weekend and over the next few weeks have a decent offering, whereas the further away they get the less markets on offer. That’s understandable, and I wouldn’t expect to find round by round and the like for fights that are months away. Overall, I like what LiveScore Bet is doing, but there’s definitely some other stuff I’d like to see, as everything feels a bit safe.

LiveScore Bet Other Sports Betting

Whilst these sports might sound very niche, there is a massive market for fans, and millions of them in the UK, so good coverage of niche sports and events is key to be reviewed on OLBG.

Other Sports at LiveScore Bet 🌍🏀🏐🚴🎮

LiveScore Bet offers diverse betting options: handball 🏆, volleyball 🏐, cycling 🚴, Aussie rules 🏉, and esports 🎮. Explore global matches, detailed stats, and infinite markets.

LiveScore Bet offers extensive betting options for Handball, volleyball, cycling, AFL betting, and esports. Handball includes global competitions; volleyball, covers European Championships and various tournaments; cycling features future tours and current races; AFL betting has comprehensive stats and esports offers all major games like League of Legends and CS:GO.

Political Betting

LiveScore Bet doesn’t offer any political betting at the time of review.

Entertainment and Specials Betting

By Jake Ashton - This is okay, fairly standard across the board, really. There’s a couple of UK reality shows listed, plus Eurovision. Weirdly, however, there is nothing in the way of the big American awards ceremonies – even if you don’t have markets on the Golden Globes or Emmys, having nothing for The Oscars is a big miss.

Casino

LiveScore Bet does have casino. Despite the name of the brand, it's incredibly easy to find their casino offering from their sportsbook, with banners across the top. They also have some bonuses and offers that lead to casino spins should you win sportsbook bets. Check our Casino Sites page for dedicated new online casinos and slot sites.

LiveScore Bet Account Opening Process

A reassuringly easy process. At the top-right of the screen LiveScore Bet has their “Join Now” button. Bettors just need to select this and follow the simple steps as guided through. You’ll be asked for the usual information – name, date of birth, address etc – and once complete be sent a verification email. Clicking this from your inbox will redirect you to the site, and then you’re free to get betting.

Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

The LiveScore Bet app is so, so good. The desktop version of the site is already great, but the app does exactly what you want and that is not to feel too far removed when you switch from one device to the next, but also being product-led, and designed to suit its purpose, rather than just be a mobile version. The LiveScore Bet app feels really clean, and is super simple to navigate. I love it.

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to LiveScore Bet I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very indeed.

Managing your account

As mentioned above, the design really helps this along. On the desktop version, it’s stuff to the  left of the screen. On the app, it’s all at the bottom, with just the login at the top. I haven’t experienced any issues logging in, or finding customer service options, either. Overall, it feels like LiveScore Bet has got this part nailed.
