Full BetVictor Bookmaker Review

Overall, BetVictor is such a brilliant betting option. They rank number one for betting apps, as well as being in our top threes for Best Odds Guaranteed and Bet Builders.

Punters hear about the football and racing odds, but every sport that you take a look at has both a huge range in events, as well as fantastic odds on plenty of markets. I really struggled to find things that I couldn’t bet on. I particularly like betting on football, the NFL and college football, cycling and rugby and all were right up there.

There are regular odds boosts, enhanced accas, and every single sports page has a tonne of useful information underneath the markets (great for novice bettors). If we’re being picky it would be great if there was live streaming on other sports aside from horse racing, but you can’t have everything.

First Impression of BetVictor

My First Impressions

It’s difficult not to feel immediately at home when signing and up and betting with BetVictor. The site, and app, are well-designed, the layout has everything you’d want without feeling cluttered and as soon as you start heading to sports that you like you realise that the odds are great. It doesn’t even matter what you’re into. BetVictor are famous for their racing and football odds, but there are markets for Gaelic sports, pool, speedway, skiing and more. It’s all such an impressive package.

Live Betting

Live in-play betting is available on BetVictor with live graphics keeping you up to date with the action as it happens. In-play betting gives a large variety of betting markets with not much difference in the pre-match and in-play markets that are available.

Live streaming is also available in-play but only on horse racing with UK racing streaming available on the app and site. BetVictor don't feature in our best bookmakers for in-play betting list but do still remain highly thought of when it comes to live betting.

Live Streaming

The live streaming service offers over 33,000 races a year from 53 UK tracks and more from Ireland, with streaming is available daily from 8am to 10pm. Simply stake £1 or more on BetVictor and you can watch the action unfold. 

You can also watch free of charge race replays from all the ATR racecourses, (Ascot, Doncaster, Lingfield, etc). Betting and watching horse racing and greyhounds on BetVictor is a real joy, with racecards, form, and personal commentary on each runner, as well as Timeform greyhound tips.

Betting Odds

We monitor the odds offered by major UK bookmakers on a regular basis, getting constant updates on how they compare for different markets. It’s offered across different sports – including boxing, snooker and the NFL, among others – with excellent variety. You can build your own, use pre-built options, or even slightly edit the pre-made bets. If you’re still not entirely happy or can’t see what you’re after, you can tweet BetVictor, using the hashtag, and there’s a good chance that you’ll be offered a price and it gets added to the site. Bonuses

BetVictor offers Bet Boosts that are available for any sport, or market, and usually, are based around the top sporting events of the day. 

The boosts differ from day to day with Football and Horse Racing taking precedence at the weekend, but during the week you may find some snooker or tennis bet boosts. In some cases, the boosts are connected to something happening within the event, such as a team winning by xxx goals or a horse winning by xxx lengths.

Cash Out

Unsurprisingly, Cash Out is available at BetVictor. It’s a feature that is now par for the course for bookmakers, so it’s reassuring to see it here. The cash out offered on a bet that I placed was neither incredible, nor awful, but pretty much bang on what I’ve come to expect from the feature generally.

A full range of American Sports is available. At the time of writing, only the NHL season isn’t up and running, with the other major leagues in full swing. Beyond that, and maybe somewhat surprisingly given its lack of international racing coverage, there are lots of international markets for these sports, particularly for basketball.

When you land on an American football section, you want to see game lines, with spread, total and moneyline markets right there. Thankfully, you get that at BetVictor. Some UK bookmakers try to Anglicise US sports, but removing the spread is completely the wrong thing to do as it’s the main thing punters look for from the off, so it’s great to see BetVictor avoiding this common mistake.

It’s nice to see some promotions going on given that the Cricket World Cup is underway. Here there are some bet boosts, and some on pre-made bet builders which look great value. The event coverage is excellent, with domestic competitions in India, Australia and the UAE all there, as well as outrights for future World Cups and the Ashes, also. Betway currently tops our Best Cricket betting site right now, with huge market depth, great odds and lots of promotions. BetVictor actually matches them odds-wise, so hopefully they can up their market depth and they’ll be in with a shout of being one of the best around.

There are all the majors listed for next year, with outrights offered on all, and for upcoming matches there is a decent selection of ATP matches, as well as Challenger Series matches across the world. There’s also some enhanced accas offered at the time of review which is always nice to see. On top of that, I really like the in-play stats package that they do – there’s a lot of info packed in and it’s displayed cleanly and succinctly.

The political betting section is laid out nicely and easy to navigate. Split into US Politics and UK Politics, you can do a deeper dive into the UK once you’re in, beyond the US Presidential election and UK General Election. There are markets for the London Mayoral race, next party leaders and next Prime Minister, as well as Labour Party and Conservative Party specials. Unfortunately there isn’t anything beyond the UK or US, and I’d like to see some more interesting markets, such as moat seats, or by-election stuff, so overall BetVictor delivers a decent job, if a little unimaginative. Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. 

Placing a bet on BetVictor is straightforward with the betslip instantly popping up on the side of your screen on the desktop site. This adds your selection straight into your slip with the speed of placing the bet after clicking it less than a second.

The app is fairly similar to the desktop site with the betslip going at the bottom of your screen as soon as you pick your selection on there. In-play betting will always be slower to place a bet but from the example bets that we did we found that the prices stayed the same for the few seconds it took for the bet to process in-play.

Managing your account
