Coral is one of the most established names in UK betting and it shows. The platform is slick and easy to use, both on desktop and mobile, and offers regular odds boosts, creative promotions, and innovative tools like #YourCall and Bet Builder. It’s a bookmaker with both depth and reliability, making it a solid choice for both new and experienced bettors.

Live Betting

There’s so much here, and most of it is very good indeed. As discussed above, the in-play markets are where you’re directed to from the off, something that is fairly standard across most sportsbooks and you can then choose to navigate from this page. There are some sports not featured here, snooker for example, which does suggest that the coverage isn’t quite as broad as I first thought, but there’s three different esports covered, which is quite refreshing to see.

Live Streaming

Coral offers a very goof live streaming service across multiple sports. This inlcudes Irish and UK horse raicng, greyhounds, selected football and basketball leagues, tennis and much more. The streams are of a high quality and there is very little lag on the feeds.

Betting Odds

After looking across other bookmakers in the UK, plus going through some comparison sites, it seems as though that the odds offered at Coral are very competitive. We checked football, tennis and cricket for in-play odds, plus horse racing, basketball and rugby for pre-match and ante post odds. They’re generally pretty good and because they cover sports like floorball and stock car racing, will have odds on events that other bookies simply don’t cover at all.

Also, remember that it is always worth checking alternative betting options, including best spread betting sites and betting exchange sites, depending on who you are as a bettor.

⚽ Football Betting

Coral has one of the most extensive football offerings in the UK, covering everything from the Premier League to the lower leagues, international fixtures, and global competitions. Every match page is packed with market depth — including goals, corners, cards, player stats, and minute-by-minute options. The inclusion of match previews, head-to-head stats, and form tables provides helpful context for punters.

In-play football betting is enhanced with real-time visualisations and stats, and punters can cash out many markets before full time. Coral also boosts prices on selected games daily, especially around big matches.

Bet Builder 

Coral has a bet builder function, and it’s excellent, with little room for improvement if I’m being totally honest. I’d say it’s way above average with more markets than most that can be added into individual bet builders. 

Cash Out

Cashout is a very important betting feature for punters these days so it's crucial that bookies integrate this feature into their mobile betting apps. Coral have done this well, allowing their customers to instantly cash out their bets on any device they like.

When you land on an American football section, you want to see game lines, with spread, total and moneyline markets right there. Thankfully, you get that at Coral. Some UK bookmakers try to Anglicise US sports, but removing the spread is completely the wrong thing to do as it’s the main thing punters look for from the off, so it’s great to see Ladbrokes avoiding this common mistake.

🏀 Basketball Betting

Coral, of course, covers the NBA, that’s a given. On top of that there are events for the top leagues around the world, including Greece, Spain, Italy, and Australia. In terms of specific markets, you’ll find moneyline, total points and handicaps, plus plenty more. You can also bet in-play, with odds available quarter by quarter. The event coverage is good at Coral, with domestic competitions in India, Australia and the UAE all there, as well as outrights for future World Cups and the Ashes, also. There are some price boosts today for World Cup games, some of which are very generous. Coral actually matches them odds-wise, so hopefully they can up their market depth and they’ll be in with a shout of being one of the best around.

🎾 Tennis Betting

By James Banting - The tennis betting at Ladbrokes is nice. There are price boosts on some of the games today which not all bookmakers do. There are all the majors listed for next year, with outrights offered on all, and for upcoming matches there is a decent selection of ATP matches, as well as Challenger Series matches across the world. There’s also some enhanced accas offered at the time of review which is always nice to see. 

If they could add in more markets then they’d definitely be closer to getting into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.

By James Banting - It’s difficult to fault the golf output here. There are future markets on all the majors, as well as the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup. There are also LIV Golf Events, the Andalucia Masters, BMW Ladies Championship, plus a few more. You will find golf odds on the likes of Top 5 and Top 10 Finish, Round Leaders and Dual Forecast right here, and even Hole In One markets. 

There are also dome imaginative #getaprice specials listed. These include Charlie Woods (son of Tiger) to win a major before he turns 21, or before he turns 30, plus Rory McIlroy to win two majors next year.

Casino

Coral does have casino, which is incredibly easy to find their casino offering from their sportsbook, with banners across the top. Coral Account Opening Process

A reassuringly easy process. At the top-right of the screen Coral has their “Open Account” button. Bettors just need to select this and follow the simple steps as guided through. You’ll be asked for the usual information – name, date of birth, address etc – and once complete be sent a verification email. Clicking this from your inbox will redirect you to the site, and then you’re free to get betting.

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to Coral I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very indeed. 

Managing your account

As mentioned above, the design really helps this along. On the desktop version, it’s stuff to the  left of the screen. On the app, it’s all at the bottom, with just the login at the top. I haven’t experienced any issues logging in, or finding customer service options, either. Overall, it feels like Coral has got this part nailed.

Responsible Gambling Features

You can set your deposit limit while you’re signing up; long before you’ve got close to actually making a bet. 

There is also a Settings tab at the bottom of the page, no matter what page you’re on, that allows you to make changes to limits, as well as odds formats, or odds change preferences/notifications.
