Full Casumo Bookmaker Review

I feel like Casumo Sports would be a fantastic option for beginners and people just starting out with their betting. Gambling can be quite confusing for newcomers, and sportsbooks have so much information that it’s easy to get lost.

Experienced bettors may head elsewhere, and that could be because the sport that they want to bet on isn’t here, including some big ones – not having darts, greyhound and boxing is pretty poor – or because they can find better odds if they are properly seeking value. That’s absolutely fair enough. However, I do think casumo has a place in the betting market.

Some of the sports it covers are done really well, especially US sports, and others have plenty of market depth. There are some hits and misses, but overall, making a sportsbook incredibly easy to use and putting things like product design at the top of its agenda will definitely attract particular bettors. We need variety in the UK betting industry and Casumo helps with that.

Casumo Review Summary

Casumo packages everything up very easily and guides users through its product extremely well.

Pros

  • Fantastic app design

First Impression of Casumo Sports

Luke Bradshaw Lee

My First Impressions

This review will reflect the service offered at the time of writing. I signed up on the desktop version of Casumo Sports, but also used the mobile version to compare, as well as downloading their app. Casumo is a bit more playful than most sportsbooks, and that almost certainly comes from the fact that it started life as a casino, before adding the sportsbook at a later date. There’s a banner of promotions above a huge list of upcoming football fixtures, with no homepage focus on in-play markets like most sportsbooks do.

- Luke Bradshaw Lee, Senior sports betting editor

Casumo Sports Live Betting

Head to the “Right Now” option on the main menu and you'll arrive at Casumo’s in-play betting. One nice feature is that from the sub menu, where you choose which sport, underneath you can change the markets displayed on the main in-play page. So for football, you can select BTTS, Double Chance, Draw No Bet and so on. This obviously changes for tennis, golf etc. and when you actually select the event in question you’ll be taken to a full list of markets.See if they make it into our best bookmakers for in-play betting.

Casumo Sports Live Streaming

Casumo Sports has no live streaming at the time of review.

Casumo Sports Betting Odds

After looking through other sportsbooks, as well as going through comparison sites, I can see that the odds offered at Casumo Sports are fine for the most part. For football, for example, it’s around what you’d expect and you can definitely find more value elsewhere, but there are some sports where the odds are better, that goes for some of the more niche sports. Overall, it just depends on what sport it is that you like to bet on.

Also, remember that it is always worth checking alternative betting options, including best spread betting sites and betting exchange sites, depending on who you are as a bettor.

Casumo Sports Betting App or Mobile Site

The Casumo app is definitely casino-first, which is understandable. You can toggle to the sportsbook in the top right of the screen, taking you to the full bookie offering. Casumo’s graphics, font and styling really lend itself well to an app, with curved, boxy tiles rounded off that feel in keeping with the product. From a technical point of view, it works brilliantly and getting from A to B is a simple enough process. The app is definitely a strong aspect of Casumo Sports overall.

Casumo Sports Football Betting

The package as a whole is good, especially when it comes to the number of events and competitions covered. There are some promotions, which we’ll get onto below, but the odds are just par for the course really, and could do with being just a little longer, and those two factors combined mean that it doesn’t quite make our absolute best. See how it compares to the best football betting sites in the UK

Bet Builder

There’s a very good bet builder feature at Casumo Sports. A lot of events have pre-made bet builder options that you can select from if that’s your thing, but a crucial difference here is that you can add or edit the picks within these pre-made options. Most sports have bet builder as an option, and obviously football leads that. There are plenty of markets within the builder and the menu drop downs work very well indeed.

Bonuses

Most, if not all, the bonuses at Casumo are football related. There is an Acca Booster that works in much the same way as it does at other sportsbooks by boosting your winnings the more legs that you add, from a 5% profit boost (for three legs) up to a 50% profit boost for 12 legs or more. There are also two promotions that give punters 10% of their stake back as a free bet, and that’s if you lose your in-play bet, or with your bet builders.

Cash Out

Cashout is a very important betting feature for punters these days so it's crucial that bookies integrate this feature into their mobile betting apps. At Casumo Sports you can get partial cash out, which is great, but you can’t cash out on bet builders or edit your bet, which does let it down a bit.

Casumo Sports Horse Racing

Casumo Sports’s racing offering is just about okay. There’s full listing on UK and Irish meets, but there’s nothing beyond that, so no racing from the US, Japan, Australia, or anywhere else for that matter. There’s also no live streaming or Best Odds Guaranteed. Some selected races do have Each Way Plus, with extra places offered and these are easy to find thanks to the purple “EW+” logos that dot the page.

Casumo Sports US Sports Betting

A full range of American Sports is available. We’ll check out the major leagues, but also look into the sports further down the pyramid and, as well as across the globe.

American Football Betting

This is actually excellent. I’m not sure why but I was kind of expecting this to be a bit below average but it’s actually very, very good. It has everything that you’d want, presented in the American format (always better for US sports) with spread, moneyline and totals front and centre. There’s aton of markets per game, and there are even outrights on events way in the future, such as the NFL Draft next year. It’s worth checking out to see if they’re one of the best NFL betting sites

Basketball Betting

Covering the NBA, WNBA, college basketball, Euro League, as well as leagues in Argentina, France, Italy, Poland and more, Casumo Sports has a brilliant basketball offering. There’s a lot of countries covered here, although not as many as maybe some others. For individual games there are hundreds of different markets to choose from, making it a great place to come to for basketball betting. For individual NBA games there are usually 100+ different markets, including plenty of game props and player props. See how it compares to the best basketball betting sites in the country.

Baseball Betting

The MLB, understandably, is a large part of Casumo Sports’s baseball betting, but they also have markets for the Japanese, Taiwan and South Korean leagues and these also feature in their in-play betting. These in-pla games have supporting stats that you can utilise for your betting along the way. There are lots of markets per game, with a couple of specials thrown in, also – “Will there be a run in the first inning?”, for example. Keep tabs on the top baseball betting sites though, to see if they make it onto our list.

Ice Hockey Betting

You can bet on leagues all around the globe – Finland, Sweden, even World Championships – but obviously the NHL is the main draw here. On top of futures that you can get on conference and division winners, and player of the season awards, there are a ton of markets per game, with plenty of interesting player props on top of all the usuals. I don’t know of many sportsbooks in the UK that offer this many markets for ice hockey.

Casumo Sports Greyhound Betting

Casumo Sports has no greyhound betting at the time of review.

Casumo Sports Darts Betting

Casumo Sports has no darts betting at the time of review.

Casumo Sports Snooker Betting

By Steve Madgwick - Unfortunately this is very basic. There’s some smaller tournaments going on right now that aren’t included here. The only odds that they do have is the outright market on the next World Championships, and that is literally it. Compared to the best snooker betting sites, this is quite a bit off.

Casumo Sports Rugby Betting (Union & League)

By Luke Bradshaw Lee - This is just about okay, but feels a little lacking. It’s fine in terms of competitions covered, with most of the domestic leagues that you’d want to see here (although there is no D2 in France or Japanese league). Beyond that the number of markets is about 30 per game, and really this could be a bit more, especially as there is nothing in the way of player props. That said, if there was more I’d absolutely see them maybe making OLBG’s best Rugby betting sites.

Casumo Sports Cricket Betting

By James Banting - Overall, it feels like a standard offering because Casumo Sports has a decent selection of competitions, and that goes for tournaments across the world, as well as more minor competitions or leagues in said countries. But the number of markets per match isn’t huge and reduces a fair bit for smaller competitions and games. There is also nothing in the way of supporting the events, so no stats, or streaming, or tips. It’s okay, but nothing more than that. See how it compares to the top 10 cricket betting sites

Casumo Sports Tennis Betting

By James Banting - There’s one thing here that I really like and that’s the Instant Betting markets. I’m sure some other bookies have these same bets as part of their in-play offering, but not all, and not singled out in the same way. The markets are the most immediate, so if there is about to be an ace, or the winner of the next point, and you obviously have to be quick, getting in before it closes. Beyond that the number of markets is fairly standard, but the selection of competitions included is very good indeed. See if they make it into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.

Casumo Sports Golf Betting

By James Banting - Casumo Sports’s golf offering is about average. All the events that you’d want are here, with futures on the majors, but there is nothing in the way of promotions, so no extra each way odds up to 10 places on the majors, or specials and odds boosts, especially in the build up to major tournaments. In fact, even for a major as big as the US Open, the number of markets on offer is pretty basic.

Casumo Sports Motorsports Betting

By Andy Powell - There is actually quite a lot to like here, and certainly so when it comes to different types of motorsport on offer. Formula 1 has its own home in the menu, while the Motorsport section includes NASCAR, IndyCar, MotoGP, Speedway and Supercars. That’s as good as anywhere else that you’ll find. The F1 section includes outrights, plus player and team specials for the season, while each Grand Prix has its own individual markets. It’s pretty impressive overall and somewhere I’ll definitely come back to.

Casumo Sports Boxing Betting

Casumo Sports has no boxing betting at the time of review.

Other Sports Betting

Whilst these sports might sound very niche, there is a massive market for fans, and millions of them in the UK, so good coverage of niche sports and events is key to be reviewed on OLBG.

Other Sports at Casumo Sports 🌍🏀🏐🚴🎮

Casumo Sports offers diverse betting options: handball 🏆, volleyball 🏐, cycling 🚴, Aussie rules 🏉, and esports 🎮. Explore global matches, detailed stats, and infinite markets.

Casumo Sports offers extensive betting options for Handball, volleyball, cycling, AFL betting, and esports. Handball includes global competitions; volleyball, covers European Championships and various tournaments; cycling features future tours and current races; AFL betting has comprehensive stats and esports offers all major games like League of Legends and CS:GO.

Political Betting

By Nigel Skinner - Casumo Sports houses its political betting under its own section and it’s not bad. There are some US Presidential markets, but not loads, and odds on the next Mayor of London. In terms of UK General Election markets, there are next Prime Minister odds, majority odds and next party leader markets, too. On top of that, and what makes it stand out compared to plenty of other bookies, is markets in any other countries, in this case, Sweden and Australia.

Entertainment and Specials Betting

By Jake Ashton - This is very poor from Casumo Sports, with just a market for BBC Sports Personality of the Year. I’d expect a bit more of a light-hearted approach to Specials betting, with markets in music, film, awards ceremonies and even some super-specific seasonal stuff.

Casino

Casumo Sports does have casino. It’s incredibly easy to find their casino offering from their sportsbook, with banners across the top and, as mentioned, it’s where you’re directed to from the off. They also have some bonuses and offers that lead to casino spins should you win sportsbook bets. Check our Casino Sites page for dedicated new online casinos and slot sites.

Casumo Sports Account Opening Process

A reassuringly easy process. At the top-right of the screen Casumo Sports has their “Sign Up” button. Bettors just need to select this and follow the simple steps as guided through. You’ll be asked for the usual information – name, date of birth, address etc – and once complete be sent a verification email. Clicking this from your inbox will redirect you to the site, and then you’re free to get betting.

Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

I think the actual product and user experience is actually the big selling point of Casumo. Some sports are a bit lacking, but that’s never from a product point of you. The app is actually excellent and incredibly easy to use, and it feels obvious that the sportsbook launched long after apps became a thing, if that makes sense. A lot of thought has gone into its design, and all of it makes total sense. The desktop version is still very easy to use, but the app is a step above.

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to Casumo Sports I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which worked well.

Managing your account

As mentioned above, the design really helps this along. On the desktop version, it’s stuff to the  left of the screen. On the app, it’s all at the bottom, with just the login at the top. I haven’t experienced any issues logging in, or finding customer service options, either. Overall, it feels like Casumo Sports has got this part nailed.
