Cold weather is about to hit the UK with an Arctic blast reportedly imminent and that could well see snow hit with betting sites now giving odds on when we'll see snowfall first in London.

Unsettling weather could be on the way in the coming days with the betting odds suggesting a 60% chance that snow will fall in the opening fortnight of November 2024.

Further specials look at where we will see snow on Christmas Day

We're getting closer and closer to Christmas Day and odds are also given on where we will see a White Christmas this year with OLBG looking into the odds.

Scotland has a 66% chance of seeing snow on Christmas once again this year after previously seeing snow in 2023 in the higher northern regions.

England follows in the market at 2/1 and the colder snap coming on the way could see the odds shorten for snowfall on Christmas Day.

With the last market saying there's a 66% chance that we see snow falling in Scotland on Christmas, it could be the second year in-a-row that we see a White Christmas in Scotland.

The Highlands of Scotland saw snow last Christmas with both Tulloch Bridge and Aviemore declared as having a White Christmas by the Met Office in 2023.

This came on a day that was officially declared as the UK's hottest Christmas since 2016 after temperatures of 13.6C were recorded at Exeter Airport on December 25.
