UFC 306 takes place live at the Las Vegas Sphere this weekend with 'Suga' Sean O'Malley taking on 'The Machine' Merab Dvalishvili in the main event of the evening.
Current UFC Bantamweight Champion O'Malley heads into this event as the 8/11 favourite with betting sites as he looks to defend his title in a ultra-competitive bout.
Dvalishvili though will be looking to use his takedown artistry against one of the best strikers in the division in O'Malley with his average at 6.43 takedowns per 15 minutes.
O'Malley will be expecting this and make sure his takedown defence is on point going into the bout, but Dvalishvili sits at 11/10 to win the fight according to Bet365's latest market.

What the expert says...
Dana White has said he wants to make this the greatest live sporting event of all time
UFC President Dana White openly spoke about hosting an event at the Las Vegas Sphere ever since it was being built and this weekend we will finally see the UFC head to the venue.
White has said that putting on the event at the iconic venue has cost the UFC over £15m but that it will be a "one and done" situation at the Sphere.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, White said, "“I guess I looked at this thing and said, ‘Eventually, somebody is going to come in here and pull off a sporting event. I want to do it, I want to be first".

Las Vegas Sphere will host UFC 306 for its first live sporting event
The £1.7billion Las Vegas Sphere will host its first live sporting event since it opened in September 2023 and it's no surprise that it's the UFC that debuts there.
NFL hosted their draft at the Sphere and last year saw Formula 1 head to Vegas with the track going past the iconic venue but live sporting action will be held there this weekend.
UFC are expecting their best ever gate sales at the event this weekend with tickets around £2,200 each for the event which is due to make more than £17m.
All eyes will be on what sort of spectacle the UFC gives us this weekend with the event set to show us if live fights are doable at the Sphere.
