Team Europe will be wanting more of the same this time around as they look to hold onto the Solheim Cup once again after last year's tie.
Suzann Pettersen will once again captain Team Europe and will be hopeful of winning the event and winning the Solheim Cup rather than retaining it through a tie.

This year we see the Solheim Cup held for the second consecutive year after it was shuffled to 2003 when the 2001 Ryder Cup was pushed back to 2002 following the September 11 attacks.
The Ryder Cup was then postponed again back in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic meaning that the event shuffled to an odd number year again with last year's events taking place in successive weeks in Europe.
