Lions Gibraltar FC have now officially launched their new home and away kits

With the new Gibraltar Football League season kicking off this weekend, Lions Gibraltar FC have now revealed their brand new Home and Away kits for the campaign - proudly sponsored by OLBG.

OLBG became Lions Gibraltar's lead partner and front-of-shirt sponsor on a multi-year deal back in June and today's kit launch shows the OLBG logo on the front of the red home and black away kits.

In 1966, Lions Gibraltar FC reached out to the Football Association with a request to incorporate the iconic Three Lions emblem into their club crest. The club has proudly displayed the Three Lions on their shirts for the past 58 years, seamlessly blending them into their distinctive badge, which also features the club’s name, its founding year of 1966, and the Latin motto “cede nulli” – meaning “yield to none.”

You can now register your interest in these new kits through Lions Gibraltar's official site.

Sir Geoff Hurst was involved in OLBG's launch of the new black Three Lions-inspired away kit

England footballing legend Sir Geoff Hurst launched the Lions Gibraltar black away kit last month on behalf of the club he helped inspire to be formed.

Hurst’s hat-trick in the 1966 World Cup Final not only secured victory for England, but also led to a group of locals in Gibraltar forming their own football team.

Hurst said: “I honestly never knew anything about this club being formed because of what we achieved - it’s fantastic that it happened and that it is still going now. I think it is great that anything that we have done at national level has an impact throughout the country, and even further.

“When a club uses the Lions, I think it is fantastic and you realise what an influence we have at the top level and it goes right through to the grassroots of the game.
