James Corden is 4/1 with bookmakers to host Match of The Day!

James Corden has announced that he will be leaving his role as presenter of the Late Late Show in America in 2023.

Speculation is already rife about what Corden will end up doing next in his career, with bookmakers offering odds on a variety of outcomes.

It's 4/1 that Corden replaces Gary Lineker in his next role, becoming presenter of the ever popular football show Match of the Day.

James Corden's next role Odds Probability
Host a Late Night UK talk show 1/2 66.7%
Host Big Brother 3/1 25%
Host Match of the Day 4/1 20%
Host X Factor 6/1 14.3%

Corden is a well known West Ham fan and has regularly tweeted about Hammers related news over recent years.

The knowledge of football always helps and is something that former player Lineker refers to in his presenting, so this may help Corden get the gig.

James Corden is 4/1 to be the next presenter of Match of the Day, taking over from Gary Lineker next. Corden is set to leave the Late Late Show in 2023 after his final season of the show.

1/2 favourite to start a new UK Late-Night Talk Show

The favourite for James Corden specials is that he comes and presents a Late-Night Talk Show over in the UK.

Corden upped and left for America in 2015 to present the Late Late Show and he's proved to be successful lasting 7 seasons as of May 2022.

UK TV bosses therefore may see that popularity and try and get Corden to start a similar show over here after he leaves his current role.

Corden announced that he will leave the Late Late Show in 2023 after what will be a total of 8 years presenting the show.

UK TV Revamps could be hosted by Corden

The revamp of popular reality television show Big Brother has been reported in the press over the last few months, with a launch expected in 2023.

Rylan has been rumoured to be the favourite to be the new host of the show, with his ties to Big Brother huge over the final years on Channel 5.

ITV, who are reported to be having the show on their channel, may want a big name like Corden as part of a new era of the show though.

Another ITV Reality Show, the X Factor, is also rumoured to be making a comeback in the next 12 months after taking a break.

The X Factor is a flagship show for ITV so a name like James Corden taking over in the presenting role could be a big part of a new season of the show.

Big Brother is set for a new revamp next year and with a revamp comes a new presenting team, with Corden 3/1 to be the next presenter of the big reality show.
