Run during the Irish Guineas Festival at the Curragh Racecourse is the Greenlands Stakes, a Group 2 race that is contested over six furlongs by runners aged four or older.
The race was a favourite of Vincent O'Brien who won the race an incredible thirteen times, Lester Piggott also enjoyed it riding a total of six winners, it is run on the same day as the Irish 2,000 Guineas.
