2025 Irish 2000 Guineas Preview

First established a year before the Irish 1000 Guineas in 1921, the Irish 2000 Guineas is a Group 1 open to 3yo colts and fillies. The Irish 2000 Guineas is run over one mile at the Curragh Racecourse in early May of each year.

Watch out for runners who compete in the Qipco 2000 Guineas and then come here, Churchill did the double in 2017. Gleneagles in 2015 won this race before going on to success in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
