2025 Irish Cambridgeshire Preview
The Irish Cambridgeshire is the Irish equivalent to the English Cambridgeshire Handicap that is run at Newmarket, whilst both races are open to runners that are aged three or older, the Irish Cambridgeshire is run over a shorter trip of one mile which is about fifty-one meters shorter than the English equivalent.
The race attracts a big field, since 2005 there has been a minimum of twenty runners with the only exception being in 2012 when only eighteen went to post and since 2010 all bar one winner was sent off 10/1 or bigger so finding the winner usually results in getting a decent price!
