2027 Bowl Chase Preview
Scheduled to take place in April of each year at the Aintree racecourse is the Bowl Chase, with the race taking place during the Grand National meeting.
This is a Grade 1 chase which is open to runners who are five or older, it is run over a trip of three miles and one furlong, in which nineteen fences are to be jumped.
The inaugural running was in 1984, and the race was designed for runners who failed to perform or failed to make it into the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
