Scheduled to take place in April of each year at the Aintree racecourse, the Premier Handicap Chase currently sponsored by William Hill takes place during the Grand National meeting.

This handicap chase has a Grade 3 status and is open to runners aged five or older, it is run over a trip of three miles and one furlong in which there will be a total of nineteen fences for the runners to contend with.
