UK now just 30/1 to hold referendum on abolishing the Monarchy by 2030

Betting markets continue to be offered on the Royal Family with odds now given on whether there will be a referendum on abolishing the Monarchy before 2030.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II the support for the Monarchy seems like it has been on the decline with various data pieces looking at how the British public react to the Royal Family.

Recent surveys from NatCen say that 54% of Brits believe it is ‘very’ or ‘quite important’ that Britain has a Monarchy which is the lowest amount since 1983.

Betting sites now make it 30/1 that we see a referendum called on abolishing the Monarchy with just a 3.2% chance implied that it'll happen before 2030.
