Starmer has said that 2025 is a year for rebuilding

Keir Starmer addressed the Labour Party in his prerecorded new year message saying that 2025 will be a year of rebuilding after a rollercoaster first 6 months in charge.

Starmer referred to the upcoming 80th anniversary of VE Day in May to compare his time in charge to the Attlee government in 1945.

"The security of working people, that is the purpose of this government, the goal of our plan for change. And we will push it forward in 2025," Starmer said.
