Luke Littler is the bookies favourite to win the 2025 World Darts Championship

The 2025 World Darts Championship kicks off this Friday and betting odds are now offered by sponsor Paddy Power for the winner of the tournament with Luke Littler leading the market.

Littler is the 15/8 favourite with bookmakers to win the event in just his second ever World Darts Championship after a stunning debut which saw him lose to Luke Humphries in the final at just 16.

Ever since that breakthrough tournament, Littler has become a household name across the UK with wins throughout the year in Darts including the Premier League.

Now Littler heads into this year's event as the favourite to win with Paddy Power giving him an implied probability of 34.8% that he is crowned champion.

Earlier on Monday is was announced that Littler was nominated for the Sports Personality of the Year award to follow on from his Young Sports Personality of the Year nomination last week.

What the expert says...
Luke Littler is now the 15/8 favourite to win the World Darts Championship with the 17-year-old heading into the event as the in-form player after a Grand Slam of Darts victory last month!

2024 winner Luke Humphries follows just behind in the betting market

Luke Humphries sits as second favourite in the betting market to win the World Championship and become the fourth player in history to retain his title.

That shows just how difficult it is to do so with only Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson winning back-to-back titles previously.

The betting market shows just how well both Luke's have performed throughout this year with the two players arguably the most in-form of the rest.

Littler won the Grand Slam of Darts last month after a dominant 16-3 final win against Martin Lukeman and that display could be copied at the Ally Pally this month.
