IShowSpeed is the heavy favourite to beat Jake Paul in their upcoming race for $25k

YouTubers and social media influencers Jake Paul and IShowSpeed are set to come up against each other in a 40-yard dash in the coming weeks and betting sites are offering odds on who will win.

Despite Jake Paul's athletic history in recent years, with his Boxing career in full flow, it's IShowSpeed who is the massive favourite to win the race between the pair.

IShowSpeed is as short as 1/25 to win due to his smaller size and his history racing in a 40-yard dash with a fantastic 4.44 second dash ran at the 2024 NFL Draft back in April.

The latest betting odds now give an implied probability of 96.2% that IShowSpeed wins the event with Jake Paul out to 15/2 in the market.

Earlier this month Jake Paul challenged IShowSpeed to 40-yard dash

Jake Paul challenged IShowSpeed on a podcast earlier this month before Speed himself facetimed Paul to agree to the race.

Paul told Speed that he would fly him out to Puerto Rico for the race saying that Speed is "not that fast".

$10,000 will be awarded to a charity of the winner's choice on top of the $25k that they will get for winning the race.

No details set for event yet with Paul in training camp for fight against Mike Tyson

It's not just the 40-yard dash that Jake Paul has to train for with the YouTuber turned boxer also prepping for his upcoming bout against Mike Tyson.

Paul will fight Tyson on Friday 15 November at the AT&T Stadium in Texas after the fight was previously cancelled due to 58-year-old Tyson having medical issues.

Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up leading to the bout originally being postponed but we should now see the fight take place in November live on Netflix.
