Lando Norris is the early favourite to win his first F1 Drivers Championship

Betting markets are already offered for the 2025 Formula 1 season with British driver Lando Norris the favourite with bookmakers to win the Drivers Championship next season.

Norris finished in second place in the Drivers Standings in the 2024 season with Max Verstappen winning his fourth consecutive title by a margin of 63 points.

That gap was much shorter than the 290 point lead that Verstappen ended with in the 2023 season which means that the difference in quality may well have shortened in the past season.

McLaren won the Constructors Championship and they and Norris will head into 2025 confident of putting together a title challenge in both Drivers and Constructors respectively.

Bet365's latest betting market gives an implied probability of 36.4% that Norris is crowned Champion in 2025 with Verstappen just behind him with a 30.8% chance.

Lewis Hamilton sits at 8/1 in his first season at Ferrari

2025 will be Lewis Hamilton's first season racing for Ferrari after an 11 year spell at Mercedes in which he won six World Championships with his team.

The 39-year-old driver will be looking for a much better campaign this year with Ferrari after finishing in 7th place in the Drivers Championship standings in 2024.

Bookies now put the British driver as the 4th favourite in the latest market to win the 2025 Drivers Championship and you would not put it past one of the greatest of all time to put a strong run together.

Ferrari and McLaren joint favourites to win the Constructors Championship in 2025

Ferrari lost out on the 2024 Constructors Championship by 14 points after a tight battle between them and McLaren ended with a McLaren victory at Abu Dhabi in the final race of the season.

Charles Leclerc will now be hoping that Lewis Hamilton coming into the team will push them further as they battle for the Championship once again in 2025.

Betting odds can't separate Ferrari and McLaren though ahead of the 2025 season with both sitting at 5/4 at the top of the market ahead of Red Bull and Mercedes.
