Scheduled to take place in either late March or early April of each year at the Doncaster racecourse is the Spring Mile, a race that features on the same day as the Lincoln early in the flat season.

The race usually attracts a large field with 20+ runners normally lining up for this race over a straight mile, the race is a Class 2 which is open to runners aged four or older and usually, you have to find a yard that has managed to get their runner spot on as most of these will be making their season debut.
