These are the top three quickest-run Lancashire Oaks races over the last 20 renewals:

 1. Allegretto (2:28.44) in 2006
 2. Horseplay (2:28.56) in 2018
 3. Poptronic (2:28.59) in 2023

Backing all 19 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of +2.45. Remember to bookmark the racing tips page to access the OLBG racing picks easily daily.

The runner that holds the record over the past 20 renewals for the slowest time in the race was set in the 2016 renewal when Endless Time from Charlie Appleby under the guidance of James Doyle, won in a time of 2:40.21, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Allegretto, trained by Sir Michael Stoute and ridden by Ryan Moore set the quickest time of 2:28.44 in the 2006 renewal.

What the expert says...

Just a word of warning, whilst plenty of these go on to run in the Yorkshire Oaks next time out, they haven't had the best of times with form figures of 394488 between 2005 and 2024.
