2026 Betfair Stayers Handicap Hurdle Preview

Ran on the same day as the Betfair Chase in November of each year at the Haydock racecourse is the Betfair Stayers Handicap Hurdle, a race which is open to runners who are aged four or older and is run over a trip of three miles and a half a furlong.

The race is now run over standard hurdles, but between 2007-2016, this race had a more French feel with the use of fixed brush hurdles. In 2011, the race was upgraded to Grade 3 status.
