2027 All-Weather Sprint Championships Preview

Scheduled to take place on Good Friday (Finals Day) of each year at the Newcastle Racecourse is the All-Weather Sprint Championships, a Class Two race which is contested over six furlongs and carries a purse of £150k.

This race can throw up a surprise or two. The inaugural running of the race in 2014 was won by the 25/1 shot Alben Star for Richard Fahey and Paul Hanagan, and a 10/1 French Raider (Bouttemont) won the 2022 renewal.
