The Burradon Stakes is a listed race which opens the All-Weather Championships day at Newcastle Racecourse. Established in 2017, this race is contested over one mile (1m5y) on the all-weather surface and is restricted to three-year-old runners.
The race was originally part of the 'Road to the Kentucky Derby' series, a points-scoring series for runners to get into the Kentucky Derby; however, it was removed in 2019 when it was replaced by the Cardinal Stakes.
