Peter Fahy's 9 year old Gelding TUCKMILL is currently trading at a whopping 50/1 which is crazy (In my humble opinion) when you look at this lads last two runs over the tall timber. This Son of COURT CAVE won on Chase Handicap Debut @Down Royal (16f Good/Yielding) then followed this up with a decent crack @Leopardstown on Boxing Day (17f Good/Yielding) finish just 1 length off Winner AN PEAN DEARG who went on to win a big contest at the Leopardstown Festival, This charge was just a shoulder of THE KING OF PRS who went on to win a Grade 3 contest & also had CANAL END in behind him. A return back to the tall timber looks an obvious positive, The break of 108 days off doesn't overly Worry me with this lad winning off a longer break previously (292 days). Jockey Jake Coen sheds 3lbs off this already feather lite charge. 6 places on offer at Current big odds for a selection that has more than held his own against some of the bigger sharks in this pool.

Mirazur West has been learning the chasing game on the last four starts and put in his best round last time when making all at Cork. With that win under his belt, he looks likely to progress. He is best over today's trip and showed good ability in the Champion Novice Hurdle here last year when over a trip too far, 2m4f, though he had some good horses at it before not staying. Back in trip with McGarvey on again, who has a 28% SR for this top yard.

I like the chance of Henry de Bromhead's 6yo following his excellent 5th in the Grand Annual at the Festival when making his handicap debut. I wouldn't be surprised if Darragh O'Keefe had the pick of the stable entries, despite Harry Cobden riding the shorter priced Champagne Mahler.

Makes his handicap debut. Given a mark of 146. Kept to the minimum trip. He's lightly raced over fences. Just 3 runs to date. He bumped into one on chase debut. Beaten 6L by stablemate Majborough trying to give him 6lbs in weight. The track clearly didn't suit him. He bumped into one again next time out. Bumping into another stablemate of his in Mistergif. Beaten just over 1L. Ignore the most recent run. He pulled up having never gone a yard. He was found to have a superficial cut post-race. He does well at this venue. Form figures 221PU here. He finished 2nd in the Grade 1 bumper at this meeting back in 2023. Bumping into Cheltenham Champion Bumper winner A Dream To Share on that occasion. He drops into listed company this time. The yard clearly thinks he's better than this given he's been pitched into Grade 1 company 3 times in his career.

Progressive 7-year-old this season over this trip and wasn't disgraced last time out at Kempton in a class 2 handicap over further when a 10-length second to Bad, who is now a stone higher in the weights. This horse is 2 lbs lower here with Sean Bowen up.

British trainers are targeting Punchestown this year with more horses. Trainer Anthony Honeyball has been sending plenty of horses in the last few years. GABRIELS GETAWAY has been tenderly handled this season, running okay on debut at Doncaster in a class 2 in early March with today's race as his target. Should go well.

Is a useful handicap chaser at up to 17f and posted two solid efforts returning to action following a 12-month break, winning on his return before finishing an unlucky 2nd at Fairyhouse. Stayed on well having been hampered late on. Not so good next time at Leopardstown but was found to be coughing after the race and was back to form at Cheltenham last time when finishing a close-up 3rd in the Grand Annual over two miles. Would appear to hold decent claims.

Goes for the hat trick after following up last time. Worth a strong each-way bet as he has shown improvement over fences with each run. The one he beat last time won next time out.

The drop back to 2 miles did the trick for Champagne Mahler when winning a handicap chase at Gowran Park. So, I think Champagne Mahler will win this race.

I'll take Jonjo's Petit Tonnerre. I don't think he has much in hand given 2 lbs higher than the last winning mark. But that said, he will like the conditions and could be going better than others towards the end, and so might hit the frame at 18/1.

Aspire Tower looks quite well handicapped here. The horse is a dual course winner and has won on drying ground. The horse won well last time and the trainer seems to have targeted this race today.

Didn’t perform at all at Cheltenham in the 2m4f handicap. Prior to that he won well at the DRF over 2m - went up 14lb for a 7l win. Has a good chance in a very open race.

Two-time winner over fences, Dont Go Yet, looks interesting in this big field handicap chase. His last win at Down Royal in November '23 was off just 4 lbs lower and he finished in the first 4 in 5 of his next 7 starts. He was 2nd at Wexford last month and looks like a good each-way bet with 6 places on offer.

With 6 places, it's hard not to discount this horse. Won last time out and carrying just 10-5. Will enjoy the drying ground.
