Was a bit of an eye-catcher when making his debut over 7f at Thirsk, when finishing a never-3rd, beaten 5 lengths. There could be quite a bit of improvement to come with that experience behind him, and he is too big a price to completely ignore.

Returned from a 9-month break to finish a close 4th over a mile at Cork in April, doing some good late work without getting a particularly hard ride. Extra distance appeared to suit last time at Roscommon when finishing a close 2nd over an extended 10f. Up further in trip for his handicap debut and worth a second look.

Was sent straight into a handicap when returning to action after an eight-month break and was a respectable close third over 10f, finishing well. The trainer has a pretty good record in this particular race, and he holds strong claims.

Improved on her decent two-year-old campaign when landing the Musidora at York on her return despite being uneasy in the market. That was over an extended 10f, and she duly built on that when second in the Oaks at Epsom just 12 days ago. She is clearly the form choice and the one to beat, providing this doesn’t come too soon.

Is quite well bred and made a decent racecourse debut at Wetherby at the end of April when a close-up 2nd over a mile. Again ran well over a similar trip last time at York and won’t be far away.

Bounced back from a poor run at Limerick when finishing a respectable 4th of 10 over this particular C&D on his last two starts. Was never nearer than at the line, having been set plenty to do, and can go close here if ridden a bit closer to the pace.

Ran his best race for a while when a close 7th of 15 at Limerick last time, doing some solid late work. Kept to that trip here, his task is now to back that up. If he does, he could go close, given he’s now racing off a career-low mark and is a C&D winner.

Ran well on turf last time, when a close-up 6th of 13 over a mile at Thirsk. He posted a respectable effort in this particular race last year, and from the same mark could sneak into the frame at a decent price.

Made a pleasing return over 10f at Bath following a six-month break, finishing a close-up 3rd. Seemed to appreciate a slightly stiffer track next time at Beverley when beaten in a photo finish over the same trip, and then ran creditably at Windsor. Kept to 10f at Redcar last time when a close 2nd, and looks a strong player here.

Had run to a similar level in the four starts ahead of his handicap debut last time, all over 10f. He wasn’t in anything like the same form for that handicap debut when tried in first-time blinkers, only beating one other runner. He goes up to 12f now in a non-handicap, and with cheekpieces replacing blinkers he could go close if he puts it all in.

Looked in need of the experience when sixth of eight on racecourse debut over 12f at Salisbury at the beginning of May. Was below that level in a tougher race at Haydock next time before finishing second of two at Yarmouth last time when faced with an impossible task. Can do better on handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces and from a low-looking mark.
