Didn’t perform at all at Cheltenham in the 2m4f handicap. Prior to that he won well at the DRF over 2m - went up 14lb for a 7l win. Has a good chance in a very open race.

Each run has been slightly better this season in graded races, finishing in or just outside the frame, so has been coming down the weights. Should get the 4m+ trip as he was staying on over 3m5f in the Cross Country at Cheltenham, and was 13th in last year's National.

Won the Coral Cup at Cheltenham, beating Jeriko Du Reponet by less than 2l. Now 3lb worse off, which may not be enough for Jeriko Du Reponet to reverse that form. That looks like the best form here.

Just Beatren in the Mares Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham (2m1f). A strong traveller who is usually prominent or can lead. Difficult to see any of those behind him at Cheltenham reversing the form, and the others haven't shown form anywhere near good enough.

Majborough is a hot favorite here and was also a hot favorite at Cheltenham. Majborough would have won at Cheltenham had he jumped the last two properly (two bad mistakes). Only By Night beat him at Cheltenham and should be close again. Could beat Majborough again if he puts in some dodgy jumps, but should take second as far better than the others.

Chased home Teahupoo at Cheltenham in the Stayers (beaten 9l). Two things in his favor today: 1. He is only a 5yo and still has some improvement and 2. The ground, Teahupoo needs soft ground and with the nice weather, it will be drying out all day and could be too quick for Teahupoo.

3rd in the Aintree Bumper is the best form here (good ground). It's a choice of going with the best form or with potential, which brings in Ksar Fatal and Dani Donadoni.
