About Irish Racecourses
The 26 racecourses in Ireland normally hold around 355 race meetings a year and attract attendances over 1 million. At OLBG we provide Irish racing tips for all courses and all meetings. The courses can be split between national hunt tracks, flat tracks and multi-purpose (jumps and flat courses).
Most of the Irish race courses are dual courses but there are exceptions. Punchestown, Kilbeggan and Thurles provide National Hunt racing only. Dundalk, Laytown and The Curragh provide flat racing only. The other 20 racecourses provide both flat and jump racing.
Ireland has one all-weather track at Dundalk and Laytown is the only beach racecourse in the country which runs races under rules.
By region, the Irish courses can be split as follows. Please click on a link to go to the course page. As well as finding any Irish racing tips for upcoming races, each course provides useful background information to help you with betting at the course. Course layouts, track bias, jockey & trainer stats as well as other useful betting tips.
